Hands Ride 2014 Day 3

Day 3 -78 kms. A shortish day but with a new short sharp climb  up to the beautiful temple near our finish location Kirawaree.

Another nice varied days riding starting with a visit to the monkeys at a local airforce base, and then plenty of back road riding through the countryside, coconut plantations  and along the coast. Tour de Thailand the bike company added in a couple of new bits to the route today including a nice piece of back road dirt riding that avoided time on the highway

This year we are having a different team captain for each days ride and I had that privilege today.

The group is riding well for such a big one (49 riders) and the lead and tail riders are not too far apart coming in to each water stop.

Bigger day tomorrow so we all appreciated pasta for lunch and some pool time this afternoon.

Gideon from rising foundation is doing well and enjoying the company of his new 48 friends.
