Day 6 Northern Ride 2015

Mukdahan to Khemmarat 94kms. A shorter day but plenty of rough roads through remote and lush Mekong areas and more rolling hills than the previous 5 days. An uneventful day crash wise much to everyone's relief.

We started the day with a visit to Mukdahan International hospital to see Mark our rider down with Dengue. 26 riders crammed into one hospital room may have exceeded the visitor limit.

We ended with dinner outdoors next the Mekong. A cool wind off the river called for jackets and sweatshirts reminding us that it is winter here.

A big day tomorrow - 134kms before our last night on the road.
