Day 2 Big Ride 2012 - Hua Hin to Prachuap Khiri Khan

Big Day - 120 kms. First time I have ridden 100 kms in a day. It was hot too.

Some thrills and spills today with a bit of skin lost.....not by me.

A very scenic day with a variety of riding, past the King's summer Palace, through the streets of Hua Hin, along the highway a couple of times, along the coast on dirt, gravel sand and concrete roads.

Group photo at a temple.

Finished at 5pm then into the hotel pool.

Dinner time now (7pm) then another early start tomorrow.

I will flesh out the blog and add photos I get a chance...maybe on day 5 the rest day.

Link below will show todays route and my stats

Ignore the heart rate monitor stats.....I'm not wearing it so not sure why the garmin thinks I am. Also the max temp of 52degrees occured whilst the bikes were parked for lunch in the sun...the Garmin got baked! I have reset my Garmin page to metric from the USA default of miles etc afew weeks ago. For some reason when others click on my links they see the USA measurements. There must be some way of changing that yourself on the garmin web page but as I don't see what you see I don't know how....
