Day 1 Nong Khai to Pak Khet

Day 1 completed. 86 kms on mainly straight flat roads. Coolish in the morning but nice breezes when the day heated up.

No wifi at the hotel so mobile blogging elsewhere. Will load the GPS map of today's ride later when have wifi for the laptop.

We had some riding next to the mighty Mekong river and mostly ride through farming areas, cattle, rice, corn, bananas, pineapples and other crops.

Off for a well earned beer shortly. Had a problem posting earlier so will post without photos and add later.
