The official rider totals have been updated today after a few weeks delay. Apologies to those who have donated to my ride via the Hands Across the Water website and haven’t heard from me yet. I will be individually acknowledging your support soon.
My banked and approved total stands at Au$4910. With money to collect, banking and reconciliations to do, the actual total we have raised to date we estimate to be around Au$8000.

On Tuesday 29 November we held a successful dinner at PhuThai Lanna restaurant. We gave a presentation on Hands Across the Water and our involvement and the orphanages. In addition to the delicious food and wonderful company we enjoyed a small auction for books, bags, t-shirts, and coffee beans donated by Fuel Coffee. We also enjoyed the entertaining launch of a Silent Auction - thanks to auctioneer Richard Drake.
Our sincere thanks to those that attended, to our sponsors for their generosity and support, and to Chat and his team at PhuThai Lanna, who joined in the spirit of the occasion.
My knee (and bike ride fitness) continues to receive the care and attention of Habit Physiotherapy and Gym.
Cookbook –“Hands Across the Kitchen” we have nearly sold all the original 100 we had for sale. We are obtaining 50 more books next week. $40 per book.
